Nature Fest
Today we went out to an event in a neighboring subdivision called Nature Fest. There were all sorts of fun activities for the kids to do, and Molly really enjoyed it. We got there right when it began and while it was strangely windy, the overcast sky made for a pretty morning to spend outdoors.
While we were there, we did camel rides, pony rides, inflatables, a crocodile show, train rides, firetruck tours, and walked around the park enjoying the day.

Easter Egg-citement!
We started our Easter weekend on Good Friday over at Alex's house. Molly and Alex had a fun time dying eggs while Bobby hid eggs all over the backyard.
Once they finished dying the eggs, the girls ran all over the backyard collecting the hidden eggs - which, to their delight, were full of candy!
On Saturday, we headed out early for another egg hunt at a local church. They organized the hunt by ages, starting with 0-2 year olds, so Bobby took Ella in the field and let her collect some eggs of her own!
And, of course, on Easter Sunday, the girls were delighted to wake up to their Easter baskets filled with goodies from the Easter Bunny. Here's a look at their loot!

3 Months Old!
At 3 months, she has settled into a pretty nice routine and seems to be doing well adjusting to daycare. In the past week, she has really been sleeping well at night, going down between 9 and 10 and sleeping through the night until 5 or 6 the next morning. It has been nice to get that uninterrupted stretch of sleep back in our lives, and we hope she sticks with it!
One of her favorite things is the swing. As much as Molly hated it, is how much Ella loves it! I am glad we kept it even though Molly didn't ever use it, because we have certainly gotten our money's worth with Ella.
We have also incorporated the Sleep Sheep into her bedtime routine, and it seems to help lull her to sleep with its soft white noise settings. She falls asleep to the peaceful rainfall almost every night, and if she starts to stir, we usually can turn it back on and she goes right back to sleep.
She is up to 5 ounces per feeding, and rapidly approaching the need for 6 ounces per feeding. We expect that next month her pedi will give us the go ahead for starting cereal.
All in all, she is a calm natured baby (unless she is in the car...then she just screams the whole time!) and we are blessed to have her as part of our family.
